What to expect from your first visit
01
Dental Exam & Cleaning
We review your new patient forms, complete an X-ray of your teeth, and provide recommendations based on the imaging. Patients usually receive a basic or deep cleaning at the first appointment depending on their individual needs.
02
Treatment Plan
Your next appointment depends on your needs identified in the dental exam. The frequency of your cleanings vary depending on insurance or financial limitations. You may also return if you’re interested in any of the cosmetic dentistry options we offer, such as ClearCorrect Aligners or Veneers.
03
Follow Ups
Make sure to follow up every 6 months with your dentist after your treatment is completed to stay up to date with your oral health!
Family & General Dentistry
Teeth Cleanings
This involves routine cleaning and polishing of the teeth to remove any plaque, stains, or tartar buildup performed by a general dentist. Local anesthesia may be used if needed.
Cavities & Fillings
This involves the dentist removing the cavity from a tooth and filling the space with composite resin to protect the remaining healthy portion of the tooth.
Tooth Extractions
This involves a dentist removing a damaged tooth from the socket in the jaw bone using local anesthesia.
Crowns
This involves the dentist removing a deep cavity from a tooth and covering the large space with a crown designed to preserve the tooth’s structure and functionality.
Root Canals
This involves the dentist removing the damaged or infected pulp from inside the tooth, cleaning and disinfecting the canals, and then sealing off the root canal with filler material to prevent further infection. A build up and crown is then placed to restore the crown portion of the tooth above the root canal.
Bridges
This involves the dentist restoring one or more missing teeth by applying a bridge that is fixed to adjacent teeth or dental implants to provide a stable and functional solution for patients with missing teeth.
Partials & Dentures
This involves the dentist curating a custom made prosthetic that can be be implemented as a full or partial set to improve patient’s chewing ability, speech, and smile.
This involves the dentist placing smaller sized implants into the jaw with a crown on top to permanently replace a missing tooth within a few weeks compared to months with a traditional implant.
Cosmetic Dentistry
Veneers
This involves the dentist applying thin shells of porcelain that are placed over the front surface of teeth to improve their appearance. They can be used to correct a variety of dental issues, such as discoloration, chips, gaps, and misshapen teeth.
Teeth Whitening
This involves the dentist removing stains and discoloration from teeth.
Clear Aligners
Clear aligners are a teeth straightening treatment that uses removable trays made of clear plastic. These trays gradually shift teeth into the desired position over time, providing a more discreet and comfortable alternative to traditional metal braces.
Hospital Services with Sedation
Complete Mouth Restoration
Complete mouth restoration is performed at an inpatient surgical hospital and involves the dentist comprehensively addressing all the patient’s dental issues while the patient is sedated, including extractions, fillings, crowns, and/or root canals. The treatment plan may include a combination of procedures such as dental implants, veneers, crowns, and gum surgeries to restore the function, aesthetics, and health of the entire mouth.
Multiple Extractions
This involve the dentist removing one or more teeth at an inpatient surgical hospital while the patient is sedated to manage anxiety during the procedure. This procedure is typically performed for younger patients or those with specialized needs requiring dental work but struggling with the atmosphere at the dental office.
